MARC BROUSSARD rocks my world!!!

Kel, Greg, Nicole, and I saw him last night @ Paradise.  He was AMAZING… unquestionably amazing.  He played “The Wanderer” – which, of course, is my favorite song.  And… his versions of “Home” and “Lonely Night in Georgia” were unreal.  God, he’s so fantastic.  The absolute highlight of the show was when was introducing his band… (all from Louisiana… represent!), then, gets to the bass player and says “Gavin from Westbank, Louisiana!” – I about lost it.  WESTBAAAAAANK!!!  Needless to say, I turned into a complete lunatic.  Someone from the WESTBANK playing in Boston… it was surreal.  Anyhow, once the show was over, Nicole ran up to the stage and started screaming “WESTBANK!!!  WESTBANK!” – and he came over and chatted with us…. And come to find out, he’s from ALGIERS!  What a small freaking world.  That was definitely bad ass!!!

I’m off tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!  It can’t get any better than that!  Well, being off on Sunday would be even better, however… I won’t complain!!!

Marc's hot... go out and buy "Carencro!!!"

I hate the work week.  It's so monotonous.  Good thing the weekend is only a day away!!!  Woohoo!!!

I posted photos from last Saturday night on my page... it's labeled "07.30.05" - so, enjoy!!!  http://www.geocities.com/TJsEverynite --- also, there's some new pictures under "Boston Randomness!"

My birthday is in 2.5 weeks.  Oh my God, I'm going to be old.  I try not to dwell on it, but there are SOME people (you know who you are!), who take pleasure in rubbing it in my face.  Bastards!!!

Ohhhh, and on a more depressing note... I have been psyched about "RENT" coming out on November 11, November 11, November 11!!!  As many can recall, I've had the countdown for like 3 months!  Only to find out today that release date is for NYC and LA only!!!  Well... guess we all know where I'll be driving to on NOVEMBER 11TH!!!

Another great weekend gone down in the books… and of course, I dread going back to work tomorrow.  Blaaaaah.

Marky’s friend, Jenny, moved to Boston on Friday from Indiana.  She’s absolutely great.  So, she’ll be our 4th roommate until she finds her own place.  It’s nice to have a new dynamic to this crazy apartment!!!

Last night, a crew of us went down to Faneuil Hall… we went to Bell in Hand.  It was SUCH an awesome time.  But… Long Islands and Tequila shots don’t mix well with Mandy.  Therefore, I was semi-struggling today, but… all worth it for such a good night!!!  Photos will be posted soon!!!  Ohhhhhh… and there are some good ones!!!

I’m exhausted, so I’m out.

Man, the weekends FLY by... it's so unfair!!!  But... it was a nice, relaxing one, so I suppose I can't complain.  Hung out with Nicole & Beamer last night @ Union Street... they have Brooklyn Lager on draft!!!  C'mon now... Ohhhh... I'll be a regular there!!!  Then, today, Katie and I went to Worcester for lunch @ moe's.  I love that place.  Good times.  Theeeeen, went to Nicole's for a while.  She cooked dinner for Marky and I.  A REAL MEAL!!!  PROTEIN!!!  Ohhhh, it's the little things in life to make me oh so happy!!!  I'm so glad she's living here!  Have I said that enough?!?  I mean, who else can get me and Marky's quirky ways of singing and dancing... and actually join in?!?  I truly have THE most amazing friends!!!

My trip to Orlando is in 2 months!!!  Ohhhhhhhhhh yesssssss!!!  I can hardly wait.  I really miss it there, but I think now... as I am becoming more acclimated to Boston, I miss it less and less.  This city is awesome... no lie.  There's just so much to do in such a small town.  I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!  Oh, and it helps now that I've got a small group of friends!!!  Always a plus!!!

Aaahh, enough rambling.

I'm exhausted... physically and mentally... whew.  Worked 9 hours, then spent 4 at Yankee Candle today.  Yea, I'm a winner... I know this.

Good news... Idina is coming to play 2 nights in Boston in August.  IT WILL BE AMAZING!!!

Sidebar... I wish my head wasn't so crazy about these things... but what's a girl to do?  I'm so clueless.

.live every moment you have. always look back, but never try to go back. never forget who you are, or where you've been. never try to become that person again. let yourself change. don't avoid pain. don't be oblivious to reality, but don't live in it. don't rush. be the exact opposite of everyone else, naturally. be afraid of the dark, and the light. and then conquer your fear. shriveling back from your own greatness can be good. but not forever. swelling past what you should be can be good. but not always. take a breath, and be yourself. and then, in the next breath, take a different perspective. never miss an opportunity to play in the rain, and get soaking wet. get cold. get hot. live as much as you can, because you need something to write about. don't become.... be.
